This is a wild take and i have never heard it before. I see pepsi or coke at cookouts, gatherings, events, etc. All majority black gatherings. What i dont ever see is mountain dew. And 9/10 those pepsi and coke are used as a chaser

I can't really think of a time where I've seen Black folks reach for a Pepsi willingly.

I remember it being a topic that came up on several boards I was a part of (most of which are now gone), but the general consensus was that Black folks don't drink Pepsi. I almost think it was discussed on the IC as well.
