The future definitely shaping up and looking more like Blade Runner and Alien’s Weyland-Yutani, with a handful Mega Corporations controlling everything in our lives.

Slowly but surely these companies will eat themselves and we'll just end up back in the old model anyway. They're simply becoming the new cable providers. All these companies merging together as one is a major L for the consumers
What would make you think that Netflix doesn’t have money?I thought these fuckers ain't have no money![]()
The streaming structure is a fail and cutting the chord didn’t save anybody money unless they watch everything on bootleg sitesSlowly but surely these companies will eat themselves and we'll just end up back in the old model anyway. They're simply becoming the new cable providers.
GladIsraelparamount didn't get it but at what cost lol.

I know they have money, but if I'm remembering correctly I feel like one of reasons for recent price hikes was because the company claimed it wasn't making a profit...What would make you think that Netflix doesn’t have money?
Wild this company started out by sending dvd’s through the mail…. Now look at em
Even if they claim to not have made a profit that yr they made billions leading up to whatever slump they claim .I know they have money, but if I'm remembering correctly I feel like one of reasons for recent price hikes was because the company claimed it wasn't making a profit...
Yeah, Blockbuster probably would have eventually stepped back from physical copies, but they would be unstoppableAnd all blockbuster had to do was buy them and everything changes
And all blockbuster had to do was buy them and everything changes
What’s funny is HBO already had HBO go and STARZ and showtime etc had streaming as long as you had the channel and watching on demand was already the same thing as streamingSo much for a “little niche business”… whoever said that is a dumbass. How they couldn’t see the future of entertainment consumption is crazy… but that’s what happens when you’re blinded by your biggest revenue being late fees.
I read that paramount was bidding for the ENTIRETY of wb/discovery and every single asset, Netflix was bidding solely for the studio and streaming service stuff. So Netflix will own WB studios and anything movie related and hbo max and their content.Soooo what happens to the music catalog?
Will Netflix maintain ownership of Prince and The Revolution’s earlier music still?
Well I hope his estate buys back the masters.I read that paramount was bidding for the ENTIRETY of wb/discovery and every single asset, Netflix was bidding solely for the studio and streaming service stuff. So Netflix will own WB studios and anything movie related and hbo max and their content.
I think that means anything else thats left that Netflix didn't buy the rights to is still up for grabs.

I was about to post the exact same thing. All these companies merging together as one is a major L for the consumers
