I wish it was just policing, but I've seen similar videos covering healthcare, education, and other topics. At this point, America has pretty much become a joke to other nations. The crazy thing it's not even like they are great at everything. The reality is that we are just that bad.

The average is around 35-37K for a basic patrol cop. I think in major cities they are getting close to 50 like Chicago, NY, and Miami.
