Watch Boston Dynamics’ humanoid robot leap up massive steps like it’s nothing

Japan may be called "a nation" but it is owned by The United States of America. They signed an unconditional surrender. We have a military base in Japan. They do not have a military base in America. In fact, they don't even have a military (I don't think).

They have a military. Not very big, but it's got land, air, and sea divisions.

That don’t mean owned. We don’t own Germany and they surrendered

Before the fall of the Berlin Wall, West Germany was "owned" by France, England and The United States. Eastern Germany was owned by The Soviet Union.

The United States owns Japan.

Lmao no they don’t where are you even getting this information?

Japan has a military but they aren't allowed offensive capabilities, and they aren't allowed to declare war since they were aggressors in WW2 and the United States rebuilt their country from the ground up after the bomb. USA installed military bases there to "defend" Japan.

So yeah, Japan is owned by the United States as much as a country can be owned by another country and have a first-world economy and way of life. If China declared war on Japan tomorrow, Japan's military wouldn't be able to do shit since they don't have the capabilities to fight a war, they would look at the USA and be like, "Ain't you gonna handle that big bro, I got your back."

Yea nah

Japan is very capable of defending itself and are moving back to old ideas

Japan is not capable of defending itself and hasn't been going on 100 years.

Japan doesn't even have nuclear weapons due to the treaty with the USA. China does.

Where do you guys get the idea that Japan is capable of hard power?

Japan traded its security in Asia for dependency on the USA and USA dictates Japan's survival.
