But having said that, for me in nyc at the time, i did not pay attention to the song until i heard jim’s version.

Cudi’s version started growing on me, pause, after that, and then i downloaded the a kid named cudi mixtape and became a fan of cudi after that

So no Jim didn’t blow him up, but for older ppl like me, i think jim’s remix helped a little
