Welcome To aBlackWeb

Utah becomes the first to ban social media for everyone under 18…

One could argue those same mental health magnifies and manifest from social media
Mental health has been around way before social media attitudes to it has improved dramatically.

It's no longer the devil or the secret of the family I am also not excusing that people are impacted by social media

How do they verify? Had to google the forbes article but it doesn't mention how companies plan to verify a kids age either
They haven’t figured it out yet but they are thinking about making the adults either provide IDs for verification and or have to make a small ($1.00) payment using a CC for confirmation

The only way this is enforceable is if these social media companies require some kind of ID. That along causes more issues because now you have way more info on a person than what is needed. Kids are smart with this computer stuff and will find away around it. If a social media company doesnt agree with their measures, will the state have isp companies block their website? That would cause issues to people that make money off these sites that live in that state.

Always been like that. Always.

This world isn't for children.
I disagree. I was born in 87 and the all the damn obstacles that was in my way to watch booty talk when I was in middle school was crazy. The work you had to put in to get the tape, plan to be in the house by yourself was exhausting. Then parents could just pop up on you at any time was crazy lol. Same shit with rotten.com

A 11 year old can just pull up pornhub in 2 seconds and see some freaky shit

I understand the porn aspect but there's a lot of stuff that is only appropriate for adults that children could get their hands on with ease. And depending on where you lived porn was accessible on TV without PPV.

I'll also add that every thing that's on the dark web now was on the surface web in the late 90s and early 2000s.
