He's basically correcting what should've been done years ago when Chavez nationalized the oil industry in Venezuela and drove all the U.S. oil companies out.
Since then, their production dropped from 3 million barrels per day to.......1 million barrels per day.
Also, we need that oil to prevent the dollar from plunging........and to slow down the rise of the BRICS nations.
Venezuela has 300 billion barrels of oil in reserves.
That's the most in the world.......and is valued at over $15 trillion since the price of oil right now is around $50/barrel.
Most people don't realize how much damage the Biden administration did to this country.
Not gonna delve too much into it, but..........basically..........when they decided to sanction Russia and stopped taking Russian oil, they messed up the supply chain and drove up the price of oil in the process.
That caused a domino effect that drove up the prices of everything.
Simply because, even though we were only getting 10% of our oil from Russia, we would need to get that 10% somewhere else after we sanctioned them.
Other countries we were getting our oil from knew that, so they increased the prices as a result.
Which, in turn, raised the prices worldwide.
Simple supply and demand.
Then, when you bring 10-15 million illegals into the country on top of that, it further increases demand because they need to be fed.........and they need to be housed.
Which increases the cost of food and housing.
What's happening now is just the culmination of what's been building up ever since we got off the gold standard in the early 70's.
It's just gotten to the point now where we finally have to address it and do whatever is necessary to prevent the whole system from falling apart.
