Some of us called out the mistakes they were making in hopes they would do better, and some of ya'll were basically accusing us of undermining Kamala instead of understanding that we were reading the tea leaves and seeing where the Dems missteps were leading.

I haven't seen anybody boil down here loss to racism and only racism. I've actually seen more arguments against it being a reason. Especially from the "she would have been just as bad or worse than trump" folks. . Literally from the moment she lost its been "Dems trash. Dems suck. Dems don't know what people want". Hell even during her campaign people focused so much on what she was doing wrong that til this day alot of people don't even know policies she actually ran on. So there's no lack of calling Dems out for their mistakes at all. It's a very very popular tool thats been used repeatedly

Because Biden’s policies were clearly better and more beneficial than whatever this crap Trump and the Republicans are doing , both nationally and internationally.

Harris’s main problem was — and probably continues to be — is how do you explain this to a willfully ignorant, uneducated, arrogant, stubborn society that has the combined political IQ of a peanut??????

I’m sure she was thinking, “Why the fuck should I do things differently if what’s already in place is clearly working — especially after a global pandemic???”

Trump is doing things differently, and look where the hell that’s gotten us in less than a year.

In reality, all Trump had to do was NOTHING, and the country — and the world — wouldn’t be on fire right now.

I wonder if people, knowing what they know now, would have voted Kamala instead of sitting out or even voting Trump. If for nothing else to prevent what’s happening now.

Honestly depending on when you asked them, gas was under 2.00 and shit was coming down and refunds were bigger.
So asking them in that time frame most would say they made the right call...now, most would say, either shit would be fucked up still or I wish we had a better person running than Kamala and Trump.

People absolutely boiling the loss down to racism and sexism. On top of that, there were and still are people that equated any criticism of her to support or help for Trump. We not gonna do this revisionist history BS. There has been pushback on that narrative, but it's still pretty pervasive.

And yes, people focused on her doing wrong BECAUSE THEY WANTED HER TO DO BETTER. Why is that so hard to understand? People were screaming at her to take a stronger stance against the genocide and she refused. As a result she lost a huge chunk of the Muslim vote. Were those people stupid for that? Of course they were, but condemning a genocide and committing to standing against it as president should have been the easier thing in the world for her to do, and she couldn't do it. I'm sorry. That's just stupid, and she deserves to be criticized for that.
