There are other statements in that manifesto that are more pertinent to the incident that happened last night.


However, Norah was looking for a gotcha moment........and Trump called her out on it.


Now, I don't think she's a horrible person..........but I am disappointed in her.

She's a better journalist than that, but she let her emotions and personal feelings towards Trump get the best of her.


In hindsight, Tony DoKoupil or Bill Whitaker would've been better choices to do that interview.

The shooter gave his reason for going after Trump. It wasn't wrong for her to bring that up, and Trump attacking her rather than addressing the issue is exactly what you'd expect a guilty piece of shit to do. Sure, the last part of what she did was a gotcha, but Trump walked into that with the way he answered.

Still, saying CBS News has a bias against Trump now with everything that's happened to that outlet is hilarious.

The bolded is why I was surprised that Norah went at him like that.

I guess she didn't get the memo.........or maybe she did and decided to go off-script.


Weiss will probably be getting some phone calls soon if she hasn't already.

Even though she runs CBS News, it doesn't necessarily mean that everyone in that department supports Trump.


Norah obviously falls into that category.

She probably did go off script, but I still don't see why you accused her of improper practice. All she did was ask what he thought about the shooter's reasoning for committing the attack. How is that not a legit question?

That slick comment she made about.........."oh, you thought he was talking about you?"..........said it all.

Trump picked up on it and called her out.


She's been in the business long enough to know better than that........or at least keep her feelings in check.

Now Trump lost all respect for her and she'll probably never get another interview with him again.

lol Are you actually being serious?

Look, it's all good. I'm at the point where I can't take anyone who defends Trump seriously anymore. If you looked at that interview where a grown man started calling a woman names for doing her job and came away with "she should have kept her feelings in check" I gotta throw you in the bin with all the other deplorables and keep it moving.

The Trump administration has covertly granted the private company building President Donald Trump’s ballroom project a no-bid federal contract for a project near the White House, and then quintupled its value from its original price estimate, new reporting shows.

The New York Times reports that, in January, the Trump administration granted Clark Construction a contract to repair two fountains in Lafayette Park, which sits across from the White House, and they did so without posting the grant on public databases.

The National Park Service (NPS) project, which will be paid for with federal money, was originally estimated to cost $3.3 million, according to calculations done in 2022 under the Biden administration. But the Trump administration inflated that to $11.9 million, and then later tacked on provisions to raise the value to $17.4 million, internal NPS documents showed.


The agency undertook numerous unusual measures both to ensure that Clark would be granted the project without competition, and that it would be given over quintuple the original cost estimate to complete it.
