Bro, I hate to sound like a doomsayer, but America is pretty much finished. At least the concept of it. We've never really lived up to that concept, but it was at least a goal that we could say we were striving toward. Trump has basically stomped all over that, and it doesn't seem like there's anything anyone can do about it. This dude is basically publicizing that he took over a foreign country so he could give it to his oil baron buddies, and it's...just being allowed. That's legit crazy. This would have been unthinkable even during the Bush era. They had to build up for a couple of years, tie Iraq to WMDs, and lie about the oil connections to get us into Iraq. Trump just did it and now he and his people are bragging about why they really did it.
