Why do people keep saying stuff like this? They could have come out and said what happened. Reports are all they asked for was cheaper healthcare for working families and Trump supposedly literally told them to "Fuck off." So why didn't Schumer or Jeffries immediately hold a Press Conference and relay that to the public? The Dems aren't doing shit at all but using their weaker position as an excuse for them not even trying.
