I just know my kids better not ever go behind my back and paint me in a negative light on social media about anything.

I have 2. At some point as a parent you gotta recognize your kids as actual human beings with their own thoughts and feelings. And they may not always agree with yours. In this instance dude is a public figure in terms of his career so criticism of his job is fair game. Thats why I said it's a difference in her getting on the internet and calling him a bad father, which she didn't, vs calling him a bad senator. The latter isn't personal because it's related to his position as a public official.
