The coverage was there long before the election bc he was showing signs that early. U can find ppl on the left calling it out not wanting him to run again. Thanks for making my point.

You're actually making mine. The coverage was there long before the election for Biden . It's not there now for trump with clear signs showing.

At first it wasn't. At first the mainstream media came out to defend Biden and tell us he was sharp as a tack but only when a camera wasn't pointed at him. When u say "plastered daily" it was mostly to defend him.

Them running interference for Biden exacerbated the scrutiny.

You are literally agreeing with me. I never once defended nor said the media was right for the Biden coverage. My point this entire time has been the media has picked a side and it's clear the side they're on now and its the side of not talking about trump mental decline to the same degree and sense of danger they did with Biden. You just been jumping through hoops to defend the mainstream media's side they've picked now

No bc mainstream media's lack of coverage of Trump's mental decline doesn't mean a lack of negative media coverage of Trump in general.

I already made the point to u much earlier that they are prioritizing covering his on going actions/policies (deservedly) over his cognitive decline. And the reason for that is it was more important to cover Biden's during his campaign bc there was still a chance to get a better candidate:

You're injecting something I never said. I never said there's a lack of negative trump coverage. I specifically said the lack of coverage of his mental decline. So there's no point in you saying that because it was never part of the discussion. You don't think trump is as bad as Biden mentally and that's fine. Thats your opinion. What is factual is that there is nowhere near the same amount of concern and doom and gloom and debate being shown over his mental capacity while acting as President as there was for Biden and is indicative of a media bias that you normally criticize and even did so in critique of Biden in this very discussion but now for some reasom defend. You can point to reasons you think as to why that's so...but my initial point that you already conceded to can't really be disputed.

No u didn't inject it, I did.....bc sometimes when a thing is relevant to a debate, it's reasonable to do so.....That's kinda how discussions work.

What doesn't work is not being able to move on from the fact that we both agree to your initial point and moving the Convo forward.

Also not a good idea to take a Gavin newsom tweet as some sort of substantiated diagnosis to make your point.

I didn't take the Newsom tweet as some official diagnosis. You are smart enough to know not to take everything literal. Or if you're confused just ask and don't assume.

As for moving the convo forward that could've been done had you not attempted to jump out there and find something to disagree with from the beginning. That was you that did that not me
