Its not a non answer. I see how Dems operate bc they have a stronghold where I live. So I see firsthand how much they suck and they have no Republican boogie man excuses.

Honestly, you personally didn’t. But your rhetoric suggests you take a principled stance on not voting, so that’s why I asked.

What I get from this is if there was a republican candidate in Chicago that was the lesser of two evils, you’d vote for them to keep the democrats out. And that’s exactly what a lot of us do and did.

Its not about taking a principled stance on not voting I see both sides as corrupt and not wanting to actually make substantive change.

We need better candidates n we need to take money out of politics. I'm sure we all agree on that it's just u guys see lesser evil as damage control n I see lesser evil as status quo that gets us back to greater evil eventually anyway. Its a doom loop.

Yes id like to see a lot of this shit change. Like a whole lot. But unless we’re personally going to get in the game and change shit then our only option is lesser of two evils.

People are having delusions of grandeur thinking not voting is changing anything in the current US political system. The only way to change the game is to be a participant at some level.

Or you say fuck the system and accept it’s not going to change and not even have a political opinion.

If I think the game is rigged I don't think playing the rigged game by the rigged rules is going to change anything. It just keeps it in motion

I personally don't think not voting is gonna change anything bc ppl don't even believe in demanding things from the candidate that expects their vote. And they don't have to offer anything other than "pick us so the other side doesn't win!"
