Think about what the Trump administration has done.

1) Cause major divisions among Americans (e.g., MAGA vs everyone else)
2) Weakened the governmental infrastructure
3) Weakened our important institutions (e.g., universities, military, scientific apparatus)
4) Weakened our relationships with ally nations
5) Weakened the USD and lowered our national credit rating
6) Severely damaged our credibility when it comes to foreign policy

On top of all of that, now China is stepping up and taking the more noble stance in a lot of cases. There the ones telling Israel to cut out the genocide. They are calling the U.S. out its bigotry. China is already strengthening the BRICS block, but on top of that, because of the tariffs countries that were allies against China like some of the EU nations, Australia, Japan, South Korea have all cut some business ties with U.S. and linked up with China.

This has all happened in the span of 4 months. Trump has more than 3 and a half years left in office. I don't think people understand how much damage is being done, and all of it benefits China.

Nah, its not someone, its several people & they arnt just working for China. They're doing it all cuz they're getting paid to.

Is it that our current AG use to "work "for Qatar making 100k a month or some shit? Treat it as everything has been compromised by foreign entities.

No, it's definitely true that a lot of people are in the pocket of foreign entities. The difference is that Qatar doesn't care if America fall or not. They are good with profiting from America and maybe having America side with some of their enemies in the Middle East. China is the one country (besides the Jihadists) that is actively seeking our downfall.

The GAO's opinion is merely advisory. The parliamentarian's guidance is also non-binding, but the Senate has traditionally followed it. While disregarding this advice is not unprecedented, it's extremely rare. Historically, leaders of both parties have feared that if they act unilaterally to change the Senate's norms, the other party will do the same when they're in power. That's exactly what happened in 2013 and 2017, when first Democrats and then Republicans deployed the "nuclear option" to eliminate the filibuster for judicial nominees.

But tomorrow, the CRA could now be used to erase any policy from an agency that the Trump administration doesn't like at a simple majority threshold," Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., said Wednesday evening as he tried unsuccessfully to derail the vote. He argued that the CRA could subsequently be used to repeal any policies the White House — including future administrations — doesn't support, including waivers related to Medicaid or reproductive health care. Given his well documented associations with Russia. I’d replace China with Russia. China is benefiting though.

These school have a limit to the amount of students they can enroll each semester and i know we can fill those ranks because we literally have the most millionaires in the world, by a wide margin. And let just be real a second, these Universities arnt just letting in the smartest teens in the world. Dont let the marketing fool you.

I think a lot of Americans are dumb in a lot of things, but we're a large country with over 300million people, we have enough really smart & smart kids with enough money to fill the ranks of our Ivy league schools. We're nowhere near that dumb and poor.

I think you’re overestimating the intelligence and work ethic combination of the US populace. Harvard still has standards and the students still need to put in a certain level of effort to get decent grades at Harvard.

Plus rich parents have spoiled kids that they can’t control in many situations. Unlike foreign born students whose parents exert a crazy amount of control.

Yes the US has domestic students smart enough, but foreign born students got the intelligence, work ethic, and money. And they pay full tuition. So for Harvard it’s a win win win. They get the intelligence, work ethic, and the money. That’s why 1/4 of Harvard students are foreign born.

You sure thats the reason why they look for international students? I think its to have a diverse student body. Its literally a conscious effort for them to keep their campus diverse so that hopefully their campus has a global perspective on things. Theres a reason why just having a perfect SAT isnt a guarantee to get in these schools now.

Because of this conscious effort they have global research programs that probably give them access in some way to experts from all over. Its in no way because we're too dumb, poor or lazy to fill our ranks.
