But wouldn’t set terms do the same? Something like a guaranteed 20 year term with a maximum age of 75 (meaning no matter what you out of there at 75)?

People were calling it out since 2019. Media started picking up on it to say it wasn't happening years later. They even used real footage of Biden wandering aimlessly to claim cheap fakes was a right wing conspiracy

U are also inserting medias role into the discussion when there is a vastly distinct difference there, and not in favor of your point.
