Nah. He did a lot of good things in this tournament. Just got too defensive in the final (scoring the early goal did not help either).
He will learn from this and become a better manager.

England's issue wasn't completely one of control though, it was Southgate like Ole, being a limited coach and not knowing when to take risks with subs. Tonight was a tale of subpar management

Exactly Ole also did the same in a must-win game against Leipzig, 5 atb and 2 dm's.
Just like this final, it ended in a loss.
I still think its down to their timid approach and fear of Maguire's flaws.
Both club and country managers play with similar formations and cautious approach; either 2 dm's at all times or it's 5 atb.
