Surf is more intune with this generation and sound and keeps its consistent. So he has more hits than misses. I think thats where lux fucks up. He experiments alil too much at times with his sound trying to fit in rather than just bar tracks away on a dope beat.

If he just found his lane and stayed there he would get more fans but he sometimes suffers from "battle rapper making songs" where surf is legit a song maker.

My only gripe with Surf IS his sound. He makes dope records but after a while it just all sounds the same.

Surf made a big leap with 7/25 ... before that dropped i would agree.
