Trump's "Big Beautiful Bill" Has Been Passed

There are some good things in it but there's a whole lot of bad

Hopefully people remember this come midterms
I wonder if people that said democrats forced their hand to not vote or vote Trump will say this forced their hand to vote democrat? I seriously doubt it because their stance is not a principled one.

Some of the craziest shit in all this is the caps on no tax on tips ($25k) and no tax on overtime ($12.5k). That’s more like no tax on some tips and no tax on some overtime.

The average individual tax rate is 14.5%. So for tips you’re saving max $3,600 and for overtime you’re saving max $1,800 in taxes.

Meanwhile the average millionaire is getting an $80k reduction in taxes.

Why couldn’t the millionaire get no reduction and the waitress get no taxes on all tips?

The House bill had no caps and in order to get Senate approval they capped no tax on tips instead of increasing taxes on the rich, smh.

Yay no tax stamps on suppressors and sbr… everything else probably bullshit though and gonna fuck those that aren’t privileged

When it comes down to it, there will be a lot of black people denied Medicaid and SNAP.

We are already disadvantaged in getting work, especially with DEI and discrimination rules getting rolled back.

Then you’re going to have people who already think black people are lazy denying coverage thinking we don’t want to work.

But yeah, let’s allow the worst candidate for black people in the last 40 years into office because:

1. Democrats didn’t promise reparations.
2. Immigrants.
3. Kamala ain’t black.
4. Pronouns
5. We bad off, let others be bad off too.
Forgot to include:

6. Both sides.
7. I help people in my hood so I’m good.

I’m sure it’ll be ok. I mean surely none of this will affect anything too important. No particular group of people will suffer. Everything will move forward and be prosperous for all. Right?

:huh2:

RIGHT?!

A whole lot of poor, mid-western and southern whites folks about to understand voting against their interest to the fullest.

To be fair it didn’t feel like if Kamala got into office a whole lot would change economically for the better… but I don’t think it would’ve got worse.

Because they would then elect morons to Congress to ensure nothing ever changes. I wonder if the both sides argument took into consideration the fact that Kamala Harris didn’t have the coalition of support in Congress, and Supreme Court and the Republican states controlled by the Federalist Society and the Heritage Foundation, the now Dipshit in Command has.

But remember "Trump is funny and tells the truth so it's ok"
