Tariq and other black folk with a similar media platform/stance don't want you to vote because that further pushes their own agenda. If you voted, its a possibility their page wouldn't have that much engaging content in order for them to make money.

There have always been people in high places making it harder for us. Far as him running for office, do you expect him to be the next black savior? That is a death sentence as history has shown, will leave black people back at square one, and has not worked. Most black activist of today no longer believe in being the next martyr as it has not proven constructive. Getting the right amount of people on the same page with a code that sustains itself does. Their "agenda" is black empowerment. What they encourage is not whoring out the black vote and getting something out of it as others are, namely justice for black people. And contrary to delusional beliefs, the money isn't in being pro-black, it's in cooning, and not rocking the boat.

Also what you're saying makes no sense as their content is demonetized, does not have ads, and/or channels can be easily banned if they crack an egg shell. Same with Facebook and Instagram. Us exercising voting power for our needs, would make it safer for them to make content for us, THAT is what pushes their agenda. That is what they've been stressing us to do. I'm also sure they could produce other kinds of content if they wanted and some of them do. And if they can make pro-black content as a product they deserve to be paid for their works.
