COMMUNITY Trill animals appreciation thread v2

It's a little funny how we've all just casually accepted that humans have encroached on deer territory so much that they've basically just because like squirrels in that you can just go out and see them chilling in your yard on any given day.

I got a couple of old friends that have cribs in a suburb of Detroit just across 8 mile that can come home on any given day to deer just chillin' in their yards. One came home and called me 'cause there were three in her front yard just sittin off. Tried to find the pic she sent me but it's prolly in my old phone.

Build, expand, build more, expand, cut down more and more forest down then be surprised when more and more start showing up in your yard. Its cool when its deer because they’re pretty harmless but let it be some predators, then shit hits the fan.

Thing is, a lot of this started happening during the pandemic. When people all but disappeared from the streets, the animals started coming back. In my entire life I've never heard of deer or coyote roaming the streets of Metro Detroit, but here we are. Same for wild turkeys, they just started appearing roaming the streets in small packs. It's said they were wiped out in the early 1900's but were reintroduced in the 70's, but I had never seen one growing up or even heard of them being in this state until 2020.
