Top 3 Discographies in the Game???

Biggie has the perfect catalogue tho, 2 classics and never made a bad song. He's immortalized too and so no one in rap will EVER have a record like that.

Hate all you want but y'all Biggie haters have the same bullshit rhetoric LOLOL where it becomes quantity versus quality. I don't need you to drop 10 albums and only 2 of them are great. That's a ratio of 10-2 or 20% chance you'll drop a classic or slim to none.

Biggie, OutKast, Kanye West, Kendrick Lamar, Ghostface Killah, 2Pac and Dr. Dre have the most consistent discographies where classics and/or amazing albums are concerned.

Get your emotions out of this
Nigga stop it. i love biggies music.. but the facts are he had 2 albums he is a great and recognized as a great but 2 albums.. cut it out

Nah b. Biggie got the goat discography two albums or not

Thats fucking ridiculous you can call him the goat the Don daddy whatever thats subjective thats your choice but the fact is he cant have one of the greatest discographies in a case like this quantity matters.......

Jimi Hendrix had 2 albums before he passed we don't discredit him as one of the greatest of all time....

Nirvana only released 3 albums as a band and those albums were relatively short compared to others of the time. Soooo what are you saying ??? Nirvana is one of if not the greatest rock group of all time to the point where they've unintentionally created sub genres.....

Stop it five !!!!

Nobodies saying Big aint a great artist. We talking about discographies here. There are artist with 4+ great albums in there discography, you telling me 2>4?

Nas
Ghostface
A Tribe Called Quest

Biggie got two albums but they're two classics. Two genre influencing classics. Anyone who puts that discography on their list has no problems with me.

I see niggas refuse to acknowledge Born Again lmao

Biggie got a classic, a great album, and a meh album aka he was trending downward

Cut out that 'goat discography' crap

Born Again came out two years after he died. I'm more than sure that album would of been different had he been alive. IMO I don't count posthumous albums since a lot of the time they drop without the input of the artist. Life After Death could technically count as one but the album was done before he died.

Puffy was the mastermind behind both RTD and LAD, what makes you think Biggie would had any input b

So you trying to tell me Biggie wasn't involved AT ALL with those two albums? He just laid down some lyrics and said "here ya go Puff fuck with that while I get some cheesecake". GTFOH. Puff of course had a say but to claim Big didn't have any input is ridiculous.

Yeah, thats exactly what I'm saying

And yet Puff has never made anything even CLOSE to the success or quality of RTD or LAD.....

Yet he was the "mastermind" LOLOLOOLOL

Ma$e said it was his pen that kept Bad Boy a float........
After Big died Ma$e said

RTD 4x plat
LAD 10x plat (remember he had just died also)

Harlem World 4x plat
No way out 7x plat

So how do you define CLOSE when you measure success?

Imo harlem world, emotional, the saga continues, AND nWo are better quality albums than LAD. Because of Puff vision

Big wasn't Jay or Drake or Ye, all in the studio making sure the producers were making the best use of his talents. Nigga was closer to X or future, he spit and left the rest to Puff

Facts!

Big from what I remember reading in XXL wanted the album to be all hard street songs, but Puff talked him into making commercial songs like Big Poppa. Puff definitely left his mark on making the albums a success but without Big's ill concept of the gritty, dark & sometime suicidal shit the album wouldn't of worked. Both trains of thought were needed for his success.

Puff after No Way Out & Harlem World tho... only having his direction was successful but for so long.

Fair enough

Still, BA is a Big album and its meh

3 albums, 1 Classic...hardly goat material

If you have 4 albums in your catalogue and only 1 of em are good fuck the other 3. You can have 2 whole albums that are better than 10 straight albums. I don't see how y'all can't see this LOLOLOL. One good ass woman is better than 10 funky ass hoes....

So you just go change up what I said, then argue the point I never made?

Using the 3 discographies I named, compare Biggies to theirs.

Jay
Face
Outkast

They all have 2 albums as good as Biggies 2 and then more. Biggies albums aren't enough to overcome the lack of longevity/total good albums imo.

Facts

Eric B and Rakim (as a group only) - 4 albums, all classics.
EPMD - Even their last album was dope.
Common - A lotta people shitted on Electric Circus when it came out but they're coming back around to it. UMC is probably going to be the same way but even still the rest of his discography is going to be pretty hard to beat.
