I really liked his solo album let's put record sales to the side and the fact it sold multi platinum as on these blogs people get sensitive about sales within the so called hip-hop head culture and overall under dog mentality heads on these blogs have. That's fine if that is how u feel and are anti mainstream culture or ant any non lyrical rapper> everyone has their own ways
But strictly on quality of the album I thought it was really good. And the same for his Mixtape discography the dude makes street bangers. I've always had a respect for street rappers like Tony Yayo, Jim Jones, Young Jeezy, B.G, Nipsey Hussle even though Pop hip-hop and crooning type of hip-hop melodic type is my thing that's my kinda music. I feel like if u gonna just make straight up rap where u rap than at least be non lyrical simple but effective like a Tony Yayo does. This just a preference I can't help not liking technically lyrical rap taste is what it will always boil down to
For me Tony Yayo music is something enjoyable in the whip it's just something based on vibes just good street Gangsta Rap from an authentic person that actually lived what they rapping about. That is all it is
