It's way more complex than that. They go by the bible teaching that u are your fathers seed they go by the teaching of u are your fathers lineage not mothers.
They believe even some people who are white today or chinese or whatever else are Hebrew Isrealites too because the bible teaches they were scattered in all 4 corners of the earth and through their fathers seed is a Hebrew. For this reason they do not go by outward appearance but by spirit they say they can tell who is a Hebrew and who is an Edomite them self because they have certain powers God does
They also believe some blacks are not Hebrews because that person who is black and not one has edomoite (white) linage on their fathers side no matter the outward appearance today
They do not believe in heaven or hell but in reincarnation
