i believe from what i saw yesterday the apps are working on it. The app do however translate english speech to mandarin. Some advanced shit.

They are trying to negotiate another 280 day extention and Trump wants to use executive order to unban it because they thought people would just use american apps but in reality they are spreading to Chinese apps and getting de-radicalized.
