Yeah, technical she falls into that category. She's 1/8 and by the whole one drop rule, she'd just be considered black especially in a place like Mississippi. The only thing I think is weird is the fact that they clearly wanted the character to be seen as someone who was passing but had clear signs of black heritage. Then they picked an actress that looked like an everyday average white girl. There weren't any actress that had that look and didn't need makeup, tan, or lighting to pull it off?
let this go monk lol

sir...ya'll have been talking about this since yesterday

wrap this up b

Bruh, it's a thread on here where dudes been talking about nasty fake asses for going on 5 years, and you're giving me grief because I made like 6 posts about Kate Bishop being a Black woman in Sinners? Stop trying to be the ABW Donald Trump. You can't limit my freedom of speech. No Kings on ABW.

lol I mean she legit does just look like a light skinned black chick in Sinners though. Did they darken her for that role because she's got no melanin in the MCU stuff? She's a racial shapeshifter.
she has some mixed heritage. what's funny is that this was brought up several times

There likely are but she's also highly coveted

A lot of times they don't go for the looks matching but rather go for the talent

I'm sure it was. I didn't follow any of the coverage of Sinners. I knew it was one of those movies I wasn't going to see right away so I avoided discussion about it because I didn't want it spoiled.

lol Aight bruh. I'm happily married. You've never seen me thirst over anything on this site let alone an average everyday Becky.
Married niggas lust everyday b

Lol, must not have paid attention to the movie. They were not trying to have it seem she could pass as black.

The first time she appeared after getting off the train, the boy with the guitar warned Stack that their was a white woman looking at him. This scene, you can clearly tell she is white.

When the 3 vampires tried to get into the club, they questioned how the girl could get in but they couldn't, since they were both white. The club had low light, so her skin looked different.

Yes, people in the movie took her for a white chick. That's what passing is. At no point in that movie did she look like she did when she played Kate Bishop. They did little things throughout to make it look credible for her have some kind of black ancestry. I'm not rehashing that point. If you think she looked in Sinners like she does in roles where she's supposed to be a straight up white chick, we can agree to disagree.

The below photos are her at different events. Her complexion looks a little different in some photos due to makeup and lighting. No different then the movie. Maybe she got a tan.
