We need a Barry Bonds biopic
I've said it before, and I'll say it again

There should be a movie about Ignaz Semmelweis.

It should be a comedy. 🤔

Not only do people have no idea who he is..... His life is hilariously ironic.

Tired of having shit in my pockets all the time then having to dig through the shit and other shit falls out of my pocket

Car keys, wallet phone, charger and miscellaneous items.. that's alot

I ain't gon lie if it was socially acceptable to wear a man bag I would.. I mean socially acceptable and normalized 300 years ago till today, not just some metro trend from 20 years ago

Ehh

And now

I'm going to tag other niggas who say questionable shit like this on the reg @Al G. Rhythm @RusselWilsonJr

Ignaz Semmelweis
Yeah that would be a good one:

1. **Unrecognized Genius**: Semmelweis discovered that handwashing with a chlorinated solution dramatically reduced mortality rates among women giving birth, a finding that predated the germ theory of disease. However, during his lifetime, his ideas were ridiculed and rejected by the medical establishment, who found it absurd that doctors' hands could be vectors of disease. His work only gained widespread recognition posthumously.

2. **Death by Infection**: Perhaps the most striking irony is that Semmelweis likely died of sepsis in 1865, a condition similar to the infections he spent his career trying to prevent. After being committed to an asylum (possibly due to mental breakdown or coercion by colleagues), he suffered a beating from guards, and a wound from this assault became infected, leading to his death. The man who championed hygiene to save lives succumbed to a lack of it.

3. **Resistance from the Establishment**: Semmelweis’s insistence on handwashing challenged the pride and authority of his peers, who were offended by the implication that they were unclean. Ironically, their stubborn refusal to adopt his simple, life-saving practice prolonged the very suffering he sought to end, costing countless lives.

4. **Personal Toll for Public Good**: His relentless advocacy alienated him from the medical community, ruined his career, and contributed to his mental decline. The irony is that his personal sacrifice and downfall came from trying to protect others, yet he received no gratitude or reward in his lifetime.

Semmelweis’s story is a classic case of a visionary undone by the very forces he tried to overcome, only to be vindicated long after his tragic end. Today, he’s celebrated as a pioneer of antiseptic procedures, but the irony of his unrecognized struggle and ironic death remains poignant.

Shits crazy... Dude was ridiculed, had his career ruined, and was driven insane.... Because he was right.
And died from a infection due to dirty hands.

Yet today he's accredited as one of the most brilliant minds of his time.

COVID was a reminder that we really haven't come that far... Cuz how many people died because the government delayed locking everything down

No gone hold you, you mad homosexual for thinking like that

I was on TikTok and this guy was talking about the dashboard and how you could see how much you would get paid if you use a certain sound and he gave an example with Doechii if you use her song and how it’s higher than normal.

You know what’s wild, everytime I deal with someone who is deceitful or manipulative.

I always think of this guy I used to know. That was just a bold face liar. He would tell some of the wildest lies. And I used to think.. does he think I’m stupid, or is he overconfident in his ability to manipulate the truth.

And it’s like, the lies that he told, didn’t even gain him anything, bro just used to voluntarily throw out the wildest lies, while looking you dead in the eyes. I think about that guy a lot.

Everytime I deal with someone who lies or manipulates. I think about that guy. I lied about when I was young, because I didn’t have enough context to understand that my lies weren’t structured enough to hold against someone with common sense. And that’s normal.

But this dude was a grown ass man, and just would lie about the craziest shit to your face. People like that scare me…cause it’s like, they don’t even live on this earth. There’s no telling what this mufucka might do..

Cause he think that I’m dense enough to believe that he had dinner with the CEO last night..deadass

I have a regular ass book bag that I keep all my shit in. It's ridiculously practical.

I even got napkins, pens, hand sanitizer. Batteries. Eye drops. So much handy shit. I spent like $20 on the shit. I wear it like a student. Y'all niggaz really slaves to retail and lack common sense

I never considered that it had something to do with autism. I’m going to consider that more as I go on through my days. Thanks for giving me something to consider and help apply grace to others. I appreciate the different perspective.

On another note, you know what broke my heart. And I realize that I’m mad late.

I just found out “Smells like teen spirit” was essentially a weird al song, it’s a critical satire. Now I feel like a fool for believing it meant something

Though I shoulda know when he shouted, a mosquito, my libido
