I remember last year there was record amounts of rain and the water trucking companies were feeling the pain from alot of folks tanks staying full and not needing to pay to get loads of water

Im not 100% but theyre likely connected through that service I mentioned already where they can fill up tanks on demand and pay per gallon. I wouldnt think the larger hotels would depend on water trucks

Bruh! This was every Friday when I was a temp back in the late 90's. Until the CU downstairs started letting anyone working in the building get an account, I would get my check and hit the Chaldean store after work to cash my shit. Sittin off at my desk feelin good 'cause I had my check, then later feelin like a million bucks walking out of the party store with a pocket full of cash was the shit.

Last time I had a paper check was when I converted from contractor to employee back in '06. As a contractor I was getting paper checks, on conversion my first two checks were paper and the rest were direct deposit.

Currency exchange not big in Memphis. People would take checks to the casino or liquor stores. When i got my first job with that check my folks took me to the bank and I opened up my first savings and checking account

Moms did the same when I got my first job in high school. Got my first check and she took me to her credit union branch around the way from my job so I could open an account.
