I want some good soul food for lunch, but all of the good ones are maybe about an hour and a half a way.

There’s one that’s downtown in my city but it’s just an old lady in an apartment. When I first found out about it, someone told me about it, took me there and told me to go up the stairs and knock on the door at the unit up top.

I deadass thought that nigga was gone wait till I knocked and pull off when the door opened, but nah, just an old lady cooking, best soul food I had in a minute.

Problem is, ion know if she still in business, she could be dead, it’s in the hood, imagine tho, ion wanna just go up two flights of steps and knock on somebody door.

Might have to drive an hour and a half rather than 30 minutes cause ion wanna feel embarrassed
 
Just found out George Lucas and his wife live a black away

I’m a try to bump into him and get into the next movie lol

I was going to post this in the high thoughts thread the other day. It’s fucked up to think about, but when you order a 4 piece wing meal, it’s highly unlikely only 2 chickens died for that plate.

More likely each wing came from a separate bird. 🤧

The death count gets even higher if the place sells wings in pieces (who started that fucking trend, anyway?).
