Miranda-Galbreath-describes-pedophiles-as-minor-attracted-persons.png

Advocates for victims of childhood sexual abuse are excoriating a licensed sex therapist with the Commonwealth who is advocating that pedophiles be referred to as “minor-attracted persons.”

Miranda Galbreath, a Pennsylvania Department of Corrections sex therapist and counselor, this week engendered pushback after posting a video on social media seeming to defend pedophiles and calling on them to be referred to as “minor-attracted persons.”

Sex therapist calls pedophiles 'minor-attracted persons,' sparking backlash online

In the since-deleted YouTube video, titled “Let’s talk about minor-attracted persons,” Miranda Galbreath calls pedophiles “probably the most vilified population of folks in our culture,” The National Desk reported.

Galbreath argued that “minor-attracted persons,” abbreviated as MAP, are people who have not “chosen” to be attracted to children and teenagers, “just as the rest of us have not chosen whatever our attraction is.”

I actually totally understand the perspective that is being presented...but if you act on it, you still have to die.
