RWD is rear wheel drive. If you need to pull or haul anything, its better to have RWD. Rear wheel drive cars handle better and have better weight distribution. They do suck in the show, tho. However, this being a Durango, chances are it's prolly 4WD (which is different from AWD), which is superior to both front or rear wheel drive in inclement weather or off road conditions.

Also, because you're not steering with the drive wheels like you do with FWD, your tires tend to last longer.
The ones I seen says AWD and RWD. I’m not hauling nothing. I inherited my daddy’s truck for that. The Durango or Sorento will be my everyday car.

Ain't no way I'm taking a sorento over a durango.

Durango with the 5.7 and AWD all day

I had a gold '03 Durango with 4WD and the 5.2L Magnum engine back when we lived in Phoenix. Body on frame so it was great for going off road up in the mountains without fucking up the chassis. I kinda miss that muhfucka too but, if I'm being honest, our old Mercedes ML500 was the superior off-road vehicle.

Is it cause you’re a man?
Its cause the Durango will be better all around. As long as you're not getting a base model. Long term the N/A 5.7 will be easier to maintain than any turbo charged 4 cylinder engine. 4 cylinders do not belong in an SUV at all imo.

If you're the type to change cars every few years then neither is a bad choice.

No, I don’t switch cars often. I drive them until I can’t no more. So, I need something that’s gonna last.
