Wow, what a disappointing ending. No big twist. No payoff. Shit could’ve just been a 2.5 hour movie.

Yea, pretty disappointed in the finale. I guess the signs were there to see that Hugh Grant's character was behind the murder but I still expected to see a twist

I wasn't mad at the ending. Not every series needs a huge twist to be interesting, this aint an M. Knight Shamalan movie.

I see nothing wrong with telling the story of a guilty man being found guilty and all the shit involved with that.. lol

basically a 6 weeks episode of Columbo

definitely an award bait show
 
This the second time HBO pulled this bullshitt ending. Did the same with The Night Of. These writers are assholes, and lazy.
