If the mistakes cost lives then intention is irrelevant. Vanya never had control of her powers. Ever.

Every time she used them someone died.

At some point you just gotta consider her a danger to herself and everyone around her.

The father should have drowned her to be honest.

She had no control of her powers cuz no one worked with her. Daddy saw her shit once and tossed her in the trash and made everybody do the same. Her powers are tied to her emotions. You singling out vanya for being unstable like everybody else came out that house unscathed and is a perfect picture of mental health. They are all fucked up and rightfully so. Her gifts were never nurtured like the others. And even if she found out later on that she had that power, had she been treated like one of the family she might not have went berserk with it cuz she woulda had a better handle on herself as an adult. Isolation is not good for anybody. Being iced out doesnt help at all. She is the monster they created.
 
Great show, started out slow but the latter episodes definitely made up for it.

Loneliness and being an outcast fucked Vanya's head up big time but now that they're going back in time they can all help Vanya with her training and include her in all of the missions.

Vanya with the proper training will be on some Hope Summers shit. Muthafucka one shotted the goddamn Moon with a special beam cannon.

The pills and the rumor were the best decision.

Professor x was right for blocking Jean.

King Vegeta was right for ordering the death of Brolly.

Vanya was and always will be a monster. The biggest mistake was keeping her alive. Luther did the most sensible thing. Trying to talk to her was impossible. She would have killed them all cuz that's what monsters do....


And after she killed them she would have killed the rest of the world.... Cuz she felt bad, an now it's everybody problem....

Her emotions...... Ended the world....

Naw bruh.... Vanya is unreachable...

Dr strange could look into 200trillion futures.... And in every one Vanya kills the world because she can't handle her power

Girl has powers tied to her emotions...takes powers away then does nothing to foster her emotional wellbeing. In fact, does everything imaginable to further erode her emotional wellbeing. Is shocked girl doesnt have any control of her powers/emotions.

Sure her siblings didn't make things any better.. but she was unstable from jump. Maybe next season they can set things right lol

Also are we to believe for the next 20ish years she ain't go through nothing? I'm sure she had emotional outbursts before this and didnt kill nobody between the time she was a kid til ep 8 lol. These was extenuating circumstances tho lol

Wasn't her ass on medication that suppressed her powers or something? Thats why her unstable ass aint kill nobody.

Soon as she went off her meds she went on a killing spree lol

I mean the shit was so easy he literally almost blew it every time she happened to show the least bit of resistance....

Like if she had half of brain the whole plan would have died at the door.
 
Anyone else notice that shit was going a lot better before Five infiltrated the commission and went back in time a day or so?

Luther and Allisom had their dance scene, Diego and Klaus bonded and Klaus got clean and saw his boyfriend again, Allison was going to see her daughter, and Vanya had just discovered Reginald's journal under Leonard's bed.

Everything was actually working out for everyone. I think Five's arrogance and fixation on preventing the apocalypse actually caused it to happen.
 
Let's remember that Vanya was made normal at the age of 4. Yes she was prone to violent outbursts but she was basically a toddler at the time.

How many nannies did she actually kill? We can assume the one that got thrown out the window didn't make it but did she "kill" any others?

After making her normal she is then made an outcast for the next 14 years of her childhood. Always made to feel less than. Vanya was an emotionally stunted time bomb waiting to go off.

Fam she hasn't had an emotional connection to a single person her whole life. Did you see how that bitch was dancing? You know she wasn't going out lol. Probly never been with nobody. She was happy and thought of for the first time in her life. She wanted to believe somebody actually liked her so she ignored all the signs and scoffed at the idea the people that contributed to her social isolation the most would all of a sudden try to take that connection away. It doesnt come off like they have her best interest at heart, it comes off like more manipulation.
