Since this is about podcasts, I have to talk about the "No Chill Gil" jawn:
Gilbert is a pretty funny personality; it's just too bad his POV on basketball is bathed in "me-first" mentality. Over the last 10 episodes or so, I've heard him talking about working hard to kill a guy in practice, trying to go out there and drop 30-35 every night. I don't think I've ever heard him say how would he make a team better. In fact, it's been quite the opposite.
Plus, his demeanor as a student struck me the wrong way. Everybody can't be so good where they can go to a college of Arizona and basically fuck the school year off; skipping classes, cursing out teachers, fuckin with teammates.
This pod has it's entertaining points, but at some point, Gil's see how this type of thought process was a bit destructive, and not a good source of advice up the next crop of players that wants to be superstars.
