Only part that annoys me is them having them at a couple synagogues in the city but I've also seen them near stadiums, subway stations and other high traffic venues in the city. With the world cup coming up, and a false flag bound to happen at any moment im not mad at it.

It's not like they're there to harass the public or over police a particular group of people. They're there to protect. That's their job. I don't have a problem.

I don't really care about militarization of police. Especially if the police are doing their jobs. Police actually solve and stop crime here. Canada doesn't have a systemic problem of police killing civilians and not being punished. Can't speak for Canada but here in Ontario everytime there's a death in police hands, a cop discharges a weapon, a sexual assault, serious injury it gets investigated by a civilian group (SIU) that can lay charges.

In light of trumps rhetoric and actions paramilitary arms to police is now something Canadian cities have to consider.

There's still some corruption and racism issues but it's come a long way from when I was a teen running in the streets.

Dawg!!! One of my boys fell through callin' himself wanting to try to make a beat on my equipment back around '99. I left him in my apartment to go down the street to pick up a cheesesteak and cheese fries and came back about 20 minutes later and I swear the shit he had going was crazy similar to this. I was like "Man, if you needed help you shoulda just waited until I got back"
