Most of these fables had really dark endings. Like Pinnochio, Alice in Wonderland, arabian nights, Cinderella all have really fucked up endings.

Those I heard of, like Pinnochio getting his legs burned off, but this one was new to me

They ran a DNA test on Tut and found that he shared markers with people in Europe, most strongly with those in Britain . That's not really a surprise. It's been known he had Euro ancestry.

Nah, I think it's pretty well established that Tut has Euro lineage. You have to remember that by the time Tut came around Egypt had already been conquered a couple times and was already subject to an influx of foreign genetic material.

Tut was a pretty inconsequential figure as far as Pharaoh's go. The only reason his name has so much fame is because all the stuff surrounding the discovery of his mummy.

His reign also brought back the worship of the old gods. His dad has brought in atenism and killed anyone who didn't convert.

So even if he weren't hyped cuz of the discovery he would've been a part of the history worth mentioning.
