I used to check in every episode. But now I pick and choose what I want to listen to.

I do agree when someone said they have favourites and whatnot but such is life when you got a movement going on, it won't stay pure forever.

NORE does need to take it easy when he's off the liquor or even damn near sober. He never lets the guest finish their stories or point.

thats my main problem he just talks over everyone so no one gets to finish.
 
I used to listen to it every week, from the first episode in...

There were real gems in his interviews (even though Nore talks over the guests) but it became a parody and mad messy once they moved over to Revolt... Ive not listened to it in years now...

Im glad Nore is getting that podcast bread though...
 
Drink Champs has had LL, Marley Marl, EPMD, Kid N Play, BDK, KRS One, so they might get to the early 80's but Nore did say the generation before those that I listed didnt show him any love

Same. I stopped listening after he did that during a few interviews. Completely turned me away from the podcast

The guests will be giving some never before heard behind the scenes shit about some shit we as hip hop fans BEEN dying to know about for yearrrrs and this nigga be like "hold up, yo can we pop this bottle here, which one you wanna drink, yo can we roll up another blunt, I'm sorry continue"
I think the best interview in Drink Champs history was the Busta Rhymes one, mainly bc Busta kept calling him out on it and was able to go in depth about things.

no, its not a good thing to cut your guests off but just in the grand scheme of things that kind of personality is required

I know what u mean. Im a laid back dude myself n would have a boring ass show...but Nore needs to learn a healthy balance. Nigga been at this shit long enough lol. If Busta Rhymes is giving you the exact moment in time where Leaders of new school broke up and behind the scenes shit about that...You GOTTA have the wherewith all to SHUT THE FUCK UP and just listen. If not for himself, for the viewers sake
 
Nore cutting people off is a double edged sword; because on one hand it’s annoying when the guest is telling a story and you’re interested in what they’re saying, and then Nore cuts them off and the guest loses their train of thought. On the other hand he saves people from incriminating themselves...

DJ EFN use to call him out here and there, but now he just gives him a poker stare, like what's wrong with you? Lol...

His whole team including the guests needs to get at him during recording when he does that shit.

I was going to mention that I really got into Drink Champs because the Combat Jack (rip) show stopped after he passed... That was such a brilliant podcast... Dream Those Dreams!!!
 
i stopped once he proclaimed it was a podcast to give flowers to the OG's of the game and then turned around and had French Montana and ASAP Rocky on there i was like.....naw i'm good....lol

i also think alot of the OG guests got turned off early by his interviewing methods and prolly fell back from wanting to get on there as well.......all in all.....Nore is a great TV personality...terrible interviewer lmao
