Benedict Cumerbatch's performance in this film was top-notch. He was absolutely detestable through the 1st half of the film till you realize that he's a repressed homosexual and that's probably the reason why he is the way he is. I can't tell whether Peter intentionally gave him the diseased hide on purpose or was it an accident. This film is picking up a lot of nominations through the awards circuit so I believe it has a lot of momentum for the next Oscar's. I rate this a 8/10

The movie was meh but his performance was great. I've never seen him in a movie where he's just a straight up asshole. He's usually arrogant. This was really interesting to see
