DEADLINE: When it was recently announced that there would be an episode tackling ICE, there were so many comments from all sides hoping that it would be handled “correctly,” which means different things to different people. How did the team avoid picking one side over another?

WELLS: Just by trying to stay truthful to the people that we talked to who were going through the experiences in the hospitals where they work. Unfortunately, when there’s any rumor that there might be ICE enforcement activity, true or untrue, many people don’t seek medical care. Or if they’re already in the hospital, they stand up and walk out. We heard stories of people where just a rumor alone meant that dozens of people left the facility who were in need of help. And if someone’s there with an infectious disease and they leave, or they have an injury, that’s likely to get progressively worse or much worse, or an emergency situation, that’s not in the best interest of the community as a whole.

Robby looks at Langdon as his personal failure. Like he led him wrong. And he's having trouble facing his own mistake.

I get why Santos doesn't like Langdon. Though I'm surprised only like 3 people know what really happened. She's upset that people think she's being a bitch but would they feel different if they knew the truth? I had no idea Santos and Garcia are a couple. I just didn't see it. To me that was super random. Not that I don't like it but just felt random. Though I think Garcia knows and is still acting that way which is odd. I was expecting Santos to crash out with because of her charts

Didn't think we'd get the immigration in the show yet. Robby should have yelled at the new charge nurse. She was probably snitching. I'm amazed they didn't mention the masks too

I'm a big fan of Abbot. They need to bring him to the day shift more often

Whitaker is moving out of Santos place. interesting. Good on Robby for telling him that having a relationship with his previous patient isn't a good idea

LOL Robby's reaction to Mohan's panic attack was hilarious. He was like get this bullshit outta here lmao. It was unprofessional but still hilarious

Mel finding out Becca has a boyfriend and having sex was funny. She needs control and her sister basically threw a wrench in everything. I think it's because her sister having sex with anyone was so out of the realm of possibility that Mel couldn't handle it

Nooooooo don't let Mohan go. I really like her character

I'm curious what they do for when Robby leaves. He's supposed to be gone for an extended amount of time but the whole season is 1 day
