The Official World Politics Thread

To hell with all that. Every politician can get up and say what they are going to do for every other group, but when it comes to black ppl its some secret squirrel shit.

At one time, supporting any gay agenda was ground to lose an election. Until they stopped backing down amd refused crumbs from the table

When are we going to demand better?
speak young king. tell em

No, its niggas like yall that think we should continue accepting crumbs from the table that are the problem.

Or we should do the wait and see shit. Its no wonder we get treated like political side pieces because thats how some of yall act.
damn...nigga called us political side pieces.

oh shit:myheart:

ole ill be over and never show up ass niggas

Well I guess basic human rights like the ability to get married, apply for health insurance and not legally be the victim of hate crimes.
so....a change of preference and it would be no problem.
but because of their preference its a problem.

while i understand this....
i am black and can not choose to change that. i can take the bass out my voice and use cakesoap but i will still be black.
a gay person can one day wake up and say they are no longer gay.

yet...the sex preference take priority over my basic human right to life unharrassed by the police?

Not sure what any of this has to do with anything.

No one said this.

You and I and every black person DO have a legal right NOT to be harassed by the police as well as a great many other rights.

To draw an equivalence to Obama’s actions for the LGBTQ community - Obama pushed for the passage of laws on their behalf.

Those laws already exist in the books for African Americans.

But we are not talking about the passage of laws. So that is a false equivalence.

We are talking about implicit bias, racism, systemic racism, state laws, corruption in the judicial branch, and a great many other factors.

The issues of police brutality is not one solved with the stroke of a pen or 8 years in the Oval Office.

It is 400 years in the making.

What would you have done to solve the issue?

Starting to understand why certain people hate her.

I didn’t get the hype before, but she clearly a threat to the establishment if she can get the ball rolling with more people like her.

Casio and her people better be well aware of the Ron Brown story.
