Northam Mulled Party Switch In Aftermath Of Yearbook Picture
Gov. Ralph Northam (D) was surprised by the immediacy with which Democrats were ready to toss him out after the racist picture on his yearbook page circulated, and even considered switching his party registration and governing as an independent.
According to a Tuesday Washington Post report, Northam was initially confused by the picture and shocked by the intensity of the backlash.
He was reportedly caught off guard because he thought his allies would give him the benefit of the doubt and be more hesitant to throw him over.
Numerous top Democrats, including Speaker Pelosi (D-CA), Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY), and Virginia’s two U.S. senators have called for his resignation. Northam’s consideration of shedding his party affiliation to govern as an independent reveals the depth of his political isolation.

To hell with all that. Every politician can get up and say what they are going to do for every other group, but when it comes to black ppl its some secret squirrel shit.
At one time, supporting any gay agenda was ground to lose an election. Until they stopped backing down amd refused crumbs from the table
When are we going to demand better?
