Trump is about to be the next president. Everybody Dem in office has two options now. They can try to cooperate with Trump as best as they can in hopes of pulling something of value out of the shit that Trump is about to dump on us for the next four years, or they can offer Trump nothing but absolute opposition and accomplish nothing but also potentially mitigate the damage Trump does.
I can say which option is right, but I think it's stupid to act like doing either one is all good or all bad. I'm not going to fault Bernie for trying the first option. If he succeeds, then at least he gets something accomplished. If he fails, then what is really the downside?

Bernie wants to increase the federal minimum wage, for example. You're saying Bernie shouldn't work with Trump to get that done just because Trump is a racist?
Our representatives are put in power to work to our benefit. They shouldn't be refusing to do things that will help us because they don't like who they have to work with. That's dumb as fuck. The government is full of racists. If everyone employed your logic, nothing would ever get done for the people. lol
