Clickbait headline leaves out that they are only trying to eliminate the FREE charging stations, unless free gas stations are also built. Pretty sure the majority of the charging stations out there require you to pay by credit card and wouldn’t be affected.

Think I agree with the reply…it’s important to teach the motives instead of just telling kids “most German citizens suddenly turned evil and supported an evil man”…otherwise it can happen again much easier…

Wooooow.

State Rep. Sarah Fowler Arthur made the comments when explaining to a local news station why she believes that “divisive concepts” should be taught from multiple points of view.

A Jewish lawmaker in Ohio is deriding legislation to restrict race education in the state’s schools as the “draconian Holocaust censorship bill” after one of the bill’s Republican sponsors suggested that it is appropriate to teach about the Holocaust from the perspective of the Nazis.

That's not entirely accurate. The title of the bill is "Prohibit teaching, advocating, or promoting divisive concepts". It's about controlling how history is taught.

Bruh that's a whole lie. The title of the bill is straight up "Prohibit teaching, advocating, or promoting divisive concepts". It's about controlling how history is taught. Whomever is in power will decide what constitutes "divisive concepts".

So both tweets in that post are wrong?

I edited just as you replied because I had some second thoughts. Not trying to fake you out.

First tweet is just bad faith as fuck and headline seeking. Second tweet isn't egregious but again not what the bill is proposing. The bill speaks to the "impartial discussion of controversial aspects of history". What constitutes impartial will be up to whomever is in power.

You good bro

I’m just trying to figure out why most outlets have been reporting it as them trying to teach “both sides” of the Holocaust. Was that a specific example cited in the bill?
