We are on the verge Of an independent Ireland this is possibly the biggest news story. In the next 6 years. There will be a referendum that could bring high tensions again, and the begging of the end of the United Kingdom.

A lot has factored into it. Brexit has played a big part in it, with the Country voting to remain and their government (DUP) encouraging leave. basically, The British government sold them out explained in the video below.
Yesterday there were elections and Sinn Féin (associated with the IRA) looks to have a majority and they have said they will trigger a referendum within the next 5 years.
They are the most popular party in Both the north and south
