Lol i missed it i come back from the bathroom and they in the post fight
You ain’t miss a gotdamn thing.

Gina got her jazzercise on and Ronda still looks like a pussy until she fights a version of cyborg that can no longer take gear and still be healthy.

Same story as it was in 2010

While Netflix did not disclose the total upfront licensing fee paid to Most Valuable Promotions (MVP) to broadcast the event, they committed over ($6.6) million in guaranteed base purses to the fighters on the card.Top disclosed base payouts from the event included:Ronda Rousey: ($2,200,000)Francis Ngannou: ($1,500,000)Gina Carano: ($1,050,000)Nate Diaz: ($500,000)Mike Perry: ($400,000)MVP noted that these guaranteed minimum purses were well above standard industry base pay, with every athlete on the card receiving at least ($40,000) to show, in addition to post-fight performance bonuses.

What a joke, Gina made more than Nat and Perry combined even tho they're more popular and almost made more than Ngannou for no reason. If that aint white MAGA privilege idk what is

To be fair, they sold the even on their names. I didn't even know about the Nate/Perry and Ngannou fights until damn near the day of.

I understand Rousey getting that kinda money to come outa retirement, but not Gina Carano. She was a mid tier fighter when she was fighting, and her last fight was 17 years ago. I just dont know who they sold that fight to and idk how they're gunna sell the next event after this. They hugged after the fight longer than the fight lol

Yeah it wasa close fight but too me Chimaev won he dominated his domain and was serviceable on his feet
.. Strickland just jabbed the whole fight consistent but not dominant and took damage from Chimaev
Chimaev is one of my favorite fighters and encouraged me take up wrestling so I was disappointed they gave it to Sean.

I think the weight cut killed him because the Chimaev that Sean got was not the Chimaev that DDP fought. He still landed 9 takedowns. I blame Chimaev's team for not calling off the fight or requesting to postpone it.

I also think the ufc don't want any more Russian/Caucasus/Muslim fighters as champion any more and are prejudice. Late last year they even gave more incentives to fighters who finish rather than use wrestling or grappling to beat guys by decision.

They've given more incentives to finish fights for over decade to keepp things exciting. And them coming down hard on wrestlers started when wrestlers were literally just holding people on the ground and not doing anything. That kinda stopped for some time tho.

Chimaev has ALWAYS had an issue with cutting weight though. This dude started his career at Welterweight. 170lbs. He messed up 2 events because he couldnt make weight, there was the Diaz fight and then another one prior to that. It was so regular that they told him to move up to middleweight. Now hes consistently messing up weighing in at 185. I know dude walks around at 220-230 and has been teasing a move up to LHW for a little bit. Originally it was to fight pereira. The story goes that after he beat DDP he was anticipating getting the move up to LHW and was bulking up. But with Sean beating fluffy and the dramatic storyline, UFC wanted him to Defend against sean after he had already bulked up, so he apparently was given 6 weeks to make it back to 185. Despite this fights issues, Im pretty sure hes struggled getting to 185 previously as well.

It was very clear when he weighed in that the scale was still balancing and nowhere near balanced when the guy just immediately yells out "185!" and they take him off the scale.

I dont know whats going on with Khamzat, but i love watching his fights, but getting him to the fight seems to always be an issue whether its weight cuts or health reasons. Its frustrating.

The rumor now is khamzat and his team want a rematch with strickland with khamzat having a better camp and weight cut. Im not against a rematch, but at this point I just want Khamzat to move up to 205 and have a productive ending to his career. Hes still young enough that he could have a good handful of fights at 205 and most likely dominate that division for a couple years and stop struggling with weight cuts and whatever plague he contracts that year.

Dana likes fun and entertaining fights more than 5 minute ground control fights where they rarely hit the guy

Crowd will start booing if someone keeps going for the takedown only to not even hit the guy
