Hes killing it in his mma fights so far. No name competition of course. Jon jones is his coach too so we will see how well that does for him. Only a matter of time before he makes it to ufc. Honestly really surprised he isnt there already.
 
Lol I feel bad for jiri but it was completely his fault.

Id like to see a rematch between the two, but this is jiris 3rd title fight loss in the last couple of years. I think they are going to want him to get a couple of wins before he gets another title shot.

Still kind of mind blown at the performance by Paulo Costa last night as well. Took on an undefeated fighter and was a major underdog. Did great the first round, looked bad the second, then came out to kill in the 3rd round and it completely paid off for him. Now hes in the top 5 for LHW im pretty sure and with another performance like that could potentially be fighting for the title soon.

Josh hokit was funny to me when he was a prelim fighter, but his Schtick leading into this fight with blaydes was very annoying. He did exactly what he wanted though and had all eyes on him. Then completely destroyed a fighter who has been comfortably in the top 5 for years. HW has always been a very shallow division so outside of Gane, aspinal, sergei and volkov I dont know if he will have much competition. If he can work on his cardio going forward he could definitely be a problem for a lot of folks. I dont see him beating gane or aspinal but everyone else I think theres a good chance. Now hes added to the white house card against Derrick Lewis and I think thats a great fight for him.

At the time I made this post I had no idea they announced gable signing to ufc. That's exciting. Heavyweight just got another great addition. Can't wait to see him fight.
 
I hate that the rousey and carano card is going to be a huge success and rousey will act like its because of how relevant she is and act like it was the greatest fight card in MMA. People will definitely tune in, but I think her vs Gina is going to probably be the worst fight on the card. Hope Gina's fine ass beats her up too
