Congratz to Yan. That was a perfect fight from him. Think he broke ribs on that kick because every body shot go a huge reaction. I think Yan will be a much better champion as well. Entertainment wise. Wouldn't mind a trilogy fight.

If Merab had taken more time to prepare he would have won. Merab is better than Yan, he approached Yan with the same strategy from the first fight and got punished.

Yan is not a guy you take with only 60 days of preparation. He took 4 fights this year. Same thing that happened with Pereira and Ankalaev. When Pereira had more preparation he smoked him. If Merab and Yan fight again, Merab will win.

Nobody is stopping Chimaev at this weight. Maybe Islam Makhachev but I doubt it. Obviously Jon Jones but he's retired and I think on the low, he's training with Chimaev. He bought a place recently in Chechnya. Nothing wrong with Chechnya but that's not a place I imagine people are flocking to. I think he and Chimaev are training.

PFL chairman has stepped down and is now under new leadership. should be interesting to see what happens. They havent had consistent events due to money issues

The Perez vs Johnson fight? He fell down but he quickly got back up but the ref called it as soon as he went down
He got up but he wasnt coherent at all. One more tap to the head he would have been out.

Other refs have let the fights continue, but I understand the stoppage for that one. Dude took some hard hits before that final one too

I get one stoppage right before the bell but multiple ones is a little off to me. I'd let it go to the next round
