I get he was exhausted but gotdamn… a lil cross training would’ve solved that.

I applaud that man for getting as far as he did with a strictly striking background but yeah… time to go home and be a family man.

Never seen him get walked down like that while being up in striking.

I blame his fighter aptitude for that.

DDP fights like he was a grappler first and foremost.

Fact is when he does his blitz he keeps his chin up.

Any trainer worth a damn would’ve formulated a solid game plan for that.

The fact that Izzy’s corner didn’t speaks volumes.

As a striker of Izzy caliber there were just too many openings but I get it… emotions were high… for stupid reasons
 
Didn't expect izzy to get submitted. Knocked out maybe, but not submitted. That's some bullshit. I didnt lose money on the fight, but it feels like I did lol
 
I only a watched on my phone while I was making food last night (I was drunk) but it looked like Izzy was gassed really bad.

I think there was a time where Izzy was invincible. Only a few fighters ever get to that level. Right now, DDP is at that level.

I think both Izzy and Whittaker underestimated how physical DDP is. The guy is thick as hell (pause) and I don’t think they realized how strong he is.
 
It seems this is how it goes for these guys that are dominant for a long time. When they take that first loss at the top, they can't seem to recover. Izzy didn't beat Alex, but I don't know. He's seemed off to me.

Why is Angela Hill still fighting? She used to be cute. Those beatings have taken a toll. Even when she wins she comes out looking rough, and she's been losing a lot more than winning in recent years.
