Glad Periera won because Izzy is corny to me. Also glad Chandler took the L. Can’t be bothered to care about Esparza/Welei fight.
Oh my God, noooooooooooooo. I knew he was sick when he withdrew from his fight against Nemkov. That's a big loss for the MMA community. He has wins over Glover Teixeira, Bader, Gustafsson, Big Nogueira, Andrei Arlovski, among many others. One of the most terrifying KO artists ever! So sad.

Did anyone know what his illness was? I only saw a few pics of him after he said he was sick, and he looked rough. I'm assuming it was cancer but I really have no idea.
I was at the event when he finished Bader. Man... Even from the semi-nosebleeds, you could just see how hard his punches landed in way you can't even really see on TV I feel like. The crowd went insane when he got the finish.

He never revealed it. Couple months ago, he was saying he was preparing for his return. Maybe he tried to speak it into existence. He lost a lot of weight, he was looking like a complete different person

To be honest, I think Izzy wanted vengeance a little too much. He didn't want to just run out the clock. He wanted a finish.
True but he also explained Alex fucked his leg up. He couldn’t plant his feet and move laterally as well. You see how he fell and rolled when Pereira checked his kick? His nerve was dun dun lol
