It wasn't just those 2 movies. It was a great buildup that they haven't been able to replicateMaking good films on the scope of Infinity War and Endgame was pretty much unprecedented. I can get not wanting to be limited to a particular set of talent, but in those cases if they found success it probably would have been prudent to keep the ones that brought that success for as long as possible.

Yeah, but the Russos weren't responsible for the entire buildup. They did do the heavy lifting on tying everything together, which is what they are going to be tasked with doing for the next Avengers movies even if the buildup hasn't been as great.
Yup. Audience built emotion with all of those movies and then bam. That build up was brilliant how they all were able to everything into those 2 movies to end itI think what Mike is saying is that, yeah they were able to tie things together but they were able to do that because of Spidy, BP, GOTG etc.
The emotion of them being snapped away and their return, probably isn't there, if not for those other movies.

I agree. I don't dispute any of that. I'm just saying that with or without the buildup, making movies on the scale of IW and Endgame is not easy, so Marvel should have done everything they could to keep the guys that are basically batting 100 at it.
